Such a wonderful mix of quaint thatched cottages and tall thin terraced shops going down the hill. The geography and Chine make this part of Shanklin very special and I don’t mind the 20mph speed limit. The day I sketched this there wasn’t the right car to add in the picture but when I went to the Gaffers festival there was a whole row of stunning classic cars and it was tough deciding which to put in.
