Description
This is a lovely stretch of beach between The Crab and Lobster Inn in Bembridge and Whitecliff bay. There are some really unique beach huts wedged into to the cliffs and one of my favourites is painted in primary colours like a Mondrian painting. I would recommend going at low tide as the rock formations are quite interesting patterns and I have tried to show a bit of this in the work.
When you are using a dip pen and indian ink it can easilly splat on your page and you have to be fairly imaginative with solutions as it is very hard to remove. In this instance a couple of dogs were added to the original composition to cover little errors.
